How I Used Pragmatic Works Training to Pass the Power BI 70-778 Certification

Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI

Recently I took and passed the Microsoft certification exam 70-778 for Power BI called Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI.  I’ve taken Microsoft certification exams in the past but for the first time I took the exam using the online proctor method.  I read several reviews by others that had a rough experience with this method of doing exams, but luckily I had a very positive experience.

Now that I’ve taken this exam for myself I want share with you in this post is how you can use the Power BI training offered by Pragmatic Works to prepare to take the 70-778 exam yourself.

The exam is broken down into three sections: Consume and Transform Data By Using Power BI Desktop, Model and Visualize Data, and Configure Dashboards in the Power BI Service. So let’s breakdown each of these sections of the exam and learn which courses offered by Pragmatic Works would benefit you when studying for these sections.

Configure Dashboards in the Power BI Service

These are some great resources to get you started but you should always be on the lookout for more!  I’d recommend giving a read to my good friend Dustin Ryan’s blog that covers several other resources that will help you get prepared! To those of you getting ready to take this exam I wish you luck!
